When CLAAS approached us to support the launch of its new digital platform, ‘CLAAS Connect’, we knew this was more than just an installation – it was an opportunity to help one of agriculture’s leading brands make a bold, immersive statement about its digital future.
Launched in October 2024, CLAAS Connect is designed as a single-entry point into the CLAAS digital ecosystem. It enables users to manage machine performance, plan maintenance, access parts, and even send instructions directly to machines in the field. Our brief was to help CLAAS make this digital transformation visible and tangible to both customers and employees visiting their UK headquarters in Saxham.

Making the digital tangible
The CLAAS team wanted the platform’s four key touchpoints – in the office, in your pocket, at the dealer, and in the cab – to be clearly and engagingly represented. That meant translating complex digital functionality into an experience visitors could see, touch, and interact with.
Working closely with CLAAS through regular meetings and feedback sessions, we helped shape an open-plan ‘Digital Experience Centre’ that aligns with their corporate identity while also serving as an informative, hands-on showcase. From initial concept development through to project management and delivery, we provided creative input, technical design, and end-to-end installation services.
Collaboration from concept to completion
CLAAS had a strong vision from the outset, and our role was to elevate it. We brought in new ideas grounded in our experience of brand activations and experiential design, ensuring the result was both visually compelling and technically functional. Throughout the project, we maintained clear communication, responded quickly to feedback, and delivered on deadlines – ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
“The finished design certainly met the brief. We have achieved an open plan display solution that matches with our existing corporate branding and it has raised the awareness and interaction about CLAAS connect to a new level with both internal employees and external visitors to CLAAS UK,” says Robert Fillingham, CLAAS UK head of digital business & after sales field team.
A lasting impact
Since launch, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. “The installation has become a focal point for customer visits, helping bring the benefits of CLAAS Connect to life and driving deeper engagement with the platform. For CLAAS employees, it’s also reinforced the company’s commitment to digital innovation,” adds Robert.
This was JBE’s first direct collaboration with CLAAS, and we’re proud to have helped them deliver such an impactful launch.
Thank you to the CLAAS team for bringing us on board. It was a privilege to help showcase the future of farming.
